St Matthew’s has always been a church engaged in a wide range of social justice issues: from poverty to peace, from tino rangatiratanga to apartheid in South Africa, from LGBT equality to climate justice. St Matthew’s folks are also engaged in their local communities and in the central city of Auckland. We are located between the Auckland City Mission and the SkyCity Tower and the future Convention Centre. We serve and engage with the poor and the rich alike. Time for Love is a documentary made by the Auckland Rainbow Community Church addressing questions people of faith have about the inclusion of people from the LGBT community in the life of the church.
